About the job Job summary Our Resourcing Team are part of Human Resources and oversee all recruitment activity for COPFS. Team Leaders are involved in all stages, from identifying a vacancy to issuing a contract to new members of staff and have management responsibility for our administrators. You will join and support a team that adapt to regular change, playing a key role in supporting staff development, maintaining quality of service and improving our working processes. The core structure of the team currently features two managers, two team leaders and three administrative staff that you would share management responsibility for. As a relatively small team we are flexible to working from home, as well as in office, to encourage personal and team development. However, you may also expect to contribute to other smaller and larger pieces of work. As well as championing excellent customer service our Team Leaders must be able to show strong leadership qualities and an ability to plan and organise against competing deadlines. SCOPE OF THE ROLE Collaborate with other HR Recruitment Team Leaders to ensure services are delivered to the highest possible standards Coordinate the flow of planned work for the team Managing the administration of internal or external recruitment and transfers Providing advice and guidance to employees and managers on the internal or external recruitment process Developing and providing a range of Management Information and reports relevant to Resourcing Review policies and processes to ensure compliance with Data Protection, employment law and the Civil Service Recruitment Principles Foster and promote a culture of excellent customer service, striving to provide excellent service to both internal and external customers ROLE SPECIFIC DUTIES Contribute to weekly planning meetings Maintain tracking material and act where necessary to provide quality and control of ongoing tasks Identify and provide meaningful reports to management and collaborators Support mailbox queries Liaise with stakeholders to develop recruitment strategies Support ongoing recruitment campaigns with excellent customer service Provide professional advice and guidance to colleagues and external partners Provide recruitment management information Update budget projections Please note these are not exhaustive lists and other duties may be required as appropriate to the role. Person specification You will need to possess versatility within this role to be able to manage key, time-sensitive recruitment planning while also supporting the rest of the team with regular day-to-day duties. Highly organised and effective communications will be essential to successfully carrying out the key responsibilities.
