Job summary Are you a receptionist who is passionate about providing excellent customer service to patients/carers/relatives An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Receptionist to work in Radiology Department at Darent Hospital. You will be working with colleagues and other health care personnel within the team who are qualified and unqualified to ensure smooth running of clinics and the delivery of all appropriate forms of patient care according to outpatient clinic standard and Trust policies, procedures and guidelines. You will be need to liase with medical staff, clinicians, health records staff and other departments as appropriate, in order to provide an excellent standard of care and customer service Main duties of the job The successful candidate will work across All Radiology Reception desks covered by Dartford & Gravesham Trust including Community Diagnostic Centre We are looking for you to apply if you are a motivated clinical receptionist, with knowledge and experience in an acute or primary care setting. You will have excellent interpersonal, IT and communication skills with the ability to organise, manage and plan your workload effectively. You will need to be dedicated and passionate in your role working with patients/ carers/ relatives including those who may have specific needs such as mentally and /or physically impaired, young children, the elderly, the very ill, non-English speaking or hearing or visually impaired.
