Account Manager Dungannon - £30-35K The Role: To develop new accounts, through constant contact, selling in new products, and cold calling. Maximise sales revenue, margin and performance by driving business growth and achieving positive results. Plan and prioritise personal sales activities. Develop and deliver PR & Marketing campaigns. Ensuring customer requirements are clear and understood. Customer review meetings at regular frequencies. The Business Development Director will accompany you to any meetings requiring decisions or where terms & conditions are discussed. Generation of reports or key performance Indictors (KPIs) as requested by the customer. Driving to meet and exceed agreed targets and KPIs Management of customer questionnaires / store visits / audits. Management of service level agreements / contracts. Arranging and attending potential client meetings (where necessary) Develop and implement a target list of customers made to approach on cold calling basis or by e mail or personal contact. Include all food manufacturing companies. Composing proposals for potential clients. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods within 24 hours Working closely with the technical dept. in the management of customer complaints and technical queries. Ensuring customer contacts are documented on technical procedures (e.g. recall / withdrawal procedure). Dealing with site visits Understanding of profit & loss margins and to work closely with the Cost Accountant on cost requirements. Know the profitability of each customer Be commercially aware of competitors and react accordingly Work with New Product Development Team to bring new products and concepts to your customers Check weekly with finance for any debtors. Attend sales and NPD exhibitions, set-up and manage stand Identify trade magazines, trade information and publications for PR within your area Know the New customer business / needs and weekly volume Develop and maintain a database to identify chilled distributors within your area for perishable products. Good distribution is vital to success. Identify the range of competitors in each category and try to find out their prices and why they are successful. Essential Criteria: Degree in relevant discipline plus over 3years experience within a fast-paced environment OR 3 years plus experience within fast paced environment Demonstrable experience in a sales and marketing team within fast paced environment Flexibility with working times to ensure consistency of policy implementation and servicing of audits/investigations etc. Desirable Critieria: Degree in Marketing /Sales 3 years plus within fresh food production Experience within FMCG / manufacturing Extensive knowledge of the Food Service industry and catering experience Evidence of an established network distinct advantage Benefits: 28 days holiday per year paid at 8 hours per day 3% contributory pension, if eligible You will be automatically enrolled into a workplace pension scheme.
