Energy and Sustainability Consultant Ref: BM337
This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplined building services consultancy who provide a holistic approach to the built environment. They are on the lookout for an Energy and Sustainability Consultant to join their team in Brighton and work on a range of commercial projects.
Role Responsibilities for an Energy & Sustainability Consultant:
1. Undertake Part L analysis and produce EPCs for non-domestic properties
2. Produce design reports such as sustainability and LZC feasibility studies
3. Use IES software to produce thermal models and carry out Part O and daylight assessments
4. The role will incorporate aspects of BREEAM, such as evidence analysis of reports from projects
5. Undertake site visits and inspections for commercial projects
The Ideal Energy and Sustainability Consultant Will Have:
1. A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sustainability Consultant within the construction industry
2. A degree within a sustainability, energy, or environmental science field
3. A Non-Domestic Energy Assessor qualification, with demonstrable experience of carrying out EPCs for commercial projects
4. Working experience with IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills
