Job Description Administrator/ NHS Bookings Location: Woodlands Hospital, Kettering Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time, Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00 Salary: Depending on experiences Benefits Summary: The Woodland hospital in Kettering has four theatres operating 6 days a week, covering a diverse range of elective services including Orthopaedic, Spinal, Pain, General surgery, Weight loss Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Urology, Gynaecology, ENT and Ophthalmology. We have a 23 bedded inpatient ward and 19 Day case Rooms /Bays. We also have a pharmacy and physiotherapy unit and radiology services at the hospital. Glendon Wood Hospital works closely with Woodland Hospital with clinical staff moving across both sites as well as some non-clinical staff moving between the two sites in support of the clinical activities. Glendon Wood Hospital has 2 laminar flow theatres and a designated endoscopy suite as well as outpatients, physiotherapy and a full imaging suite including CT, MRI and mammography. The role: We currently have a great opportunity for an Administrator to join our team at Woodland Hospital. You will be responsible for all NHS booking enquiries, booking appointments for Woodland and Glendon Wood Hospitals and be based at Rothwell Grange. You will be an integral part of the team who are committed to delivering the highest quality outcomes in a supported environment where you will be valued for your skills and expertise. This is a busy role liaising with patients, consultants and all hospital departments. We need an individual with a professional approach, excellent verbal communication skills, initiative and the ability to work within a team. Previous use of an Electronic Patient Record system would be an advantage The working hours will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 09.00-17.00.
