The IT Architecture Support role is responsible for assisting the IT Architecture team in delivering and maintaining the IT architecture vision, roadmap, and baseline for the organization. The role involves working closely with the IT Architecture Lead and other IT architects to manage the architecture backlog, ensure alignment with the strategic roadmap, and produce high-quality architecture deliverables and visions. Architecture Backlog Management: The IT Architecture Support role helps to prioritize, track, and update the architecture backlog items, which are the requests and issues related to the IT architecture. The role also assists in creating and reviewing the architecture backlog items, ensuring that they are clear, concise, and aligned with the architecture principles and standards. Baseline Management: The IT Architecture Support role supports the IT Architecture team in maintaining and updating the architecture baseline, which is the current state of the IT architecture. The role helps to document and communicate the changes and impacts of the architecture baseline, as well as to perform quality checks and audits on the architecture artifacts and repositories. Strategic Roadmap: The IT Architecture Support role contributes to the development and communication of the IT architecture strategic roadmap, which is the future state of the IT architecture. The role helps to identify and analyse the gaps and opportunities between the current and future state, as well as to define and monitor the architecture transition initiatives and milestones. Architecture Deliverables and Visions: The IT Architecture Support role assists the IT Architecture team in producing and presenting the architecture deliverables and visions, which are the outputs and outcomes of the IT architecture activities. The role helps to create and refine the architecture diagrams, models, views, and documents, as well as to prepare and deliver the architecture presentations and reports. What do I need to join?
