Senior Ecologist

Salary Circa £35,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct surveys: Preliminary Ecological Appraisal, EcIA, protected species, and biodiversity net gain assessments.
Design and implement mitigation, manage species translocation, and prepare management plans.
Manage projects, liaise with clients, and contribute to planning-led projects.
Lead on protected species licensing and collaborate across disciplines like landscape architecture and arboriculture.
Undertake marketing and CPD activities, and develop ecological work in East Midlands, London, and the South-East.Requirements:
A degree in a relevant discipline and full CIEEM membership.
Experience in large multidisciplinary projects and EPS mitigation licenses, holding at least one survey license.
Strong botanical ID skills, knowledge of UK habitats, species, and legislation.
