The company manage Estates in some of Manchesters and the Norths most vibrant destinations, in prominent locations; hubs for commercial, retail and residential development. As a customer focused business, they provide a bespoke range of services with customers at the heart of everything they do. This role will work across the full Marketing life cycle, digital / online and offline channels, with a key focus on Events and Activations. The Role We are looking to recruit a creative and business savvy Head of Marketing to take the company to new heights. This is an exciting role where the successful candidate will have an opportunity to develop the creative and strategic vision, promoting an environment that supports the company mission to deliver and maintain vibrant estates through unique placemaking and events for a varied demographic of users. The role will involve directly creating demand for the companies spaces and assets, driving sell-through across their partners and building relationships to leverage direct channels. Develop and deliver a strategic plan for the marketing department, identifying target customers, and develop a sales strategy for optimised revenue across their assets. Build positive brand equities through marketing strategies and activities and build influential relationships with customers and agency partners to leverage opportunities Continue to evolve the messaging and voice of the brand, working closely with company leaders, aligning strategies with corporate goals Identify target customers and develop a marketing strategy for optimised target market reach Manage marketing budgets and strategically increase value through a circular approach to optimizing materials and assets across all properties. Work to clear KPIs and objectives for all key marketing strategies and campaigns. Management of the small marketing / social media marketing team, overseeing and advising on social media campaigns, online paid media and print campaigns. Assist the creative team in creating design graphics, copy writing, engaging with customers and work with the team to boost the visibility of marketing materials. Stay current in the industry by attending networking events, educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops and optimize potential opportunities. Involvement in estate wide Event planning and overseeing Event Operations and identifying new opportunities for both existing managed assets and new possibilities Consistently deliver high conversion rates by offering a flexible approach to enquiries, whilst being able to negotiate the best outcome for all parties. The Candidate: The successful Head of Marketing will have strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills and possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the full marketing mix. We are looking for someone who is well networked in Manchester / North, and who thrives off working in a fast paced, business savvy, customer focused environment. Preferred degree or further education in Marketing or a related field A minimum of 5 + years experience in a multi-channel marketing function
(with a minimum 2 years in a leadership role) Strong level of computer literacy across Microsoft Office Suite and Marketing software; Photoshop, WordPress, Mailchimp, Google Analytics and Canva, along with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or similar. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive the high performance of others with strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills. Experience in copy and creative writing, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and able to build strong relationships internally and externally Experience in developing and delivering commercial strategy with high conversion output Experience in managing budgets and solid understanding of finance and accounting; preferred but training will be given. Experience in planning and managing of Events and Activations is highly desirable, alongside an understanding of and interest in place making. A strong team player with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work commitments, working well under pressure in a fast paced environment. Extremely self-motivated and self-driven, experience in networking with customers and clients and building relationships to aid new business opportunities
