Our products are handmade in Leeds and shipped across the UK. Behind the scenes, this means precision, consistency, and strong logistical operations. We’re now looking for an experienced Warehouse & Distribution Manager to take full ownership of our warehouse and delivery operations, ensuring our products move efficiently, accurately, and on time — every time.
The Role
As Warehouse & Distribution Manager, you’ll oversee our warehouse and manage the flow of stock between production, our stores, and our nationwide delivery customers. You’ll lead on all aspects of distribution — from managing inventory and supplier orders & deliveries to packaging, staffing, and last-mile logistics.
You’ll work closely with our bakery and senior management teams to support the smooth running of daily operations and help us continue growing without compromising quality or efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all warehouse operations including storage, inventory control, and dispatch
* Supply chain management including ordering stock and liaising with our Head of Finance regarding securing the best prices and contracts with our suppliers
* Lead and motivate our packing team to ensure an efficient, clean, and productive environment
* Oversee the packaging and distribution of nationwide delivery orders
* Coordinate daily and weekly stock movements between our bakery, warehouse, and stores
* Maintain accurate stock levels and manage inventory systems
* Plan and schedule deliveries to ensure reliability and efficiency
* Identify and implement process improvements to increase speed and reduce waste
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and food handling standards
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution management
* Experience within FMCG, food production, or e-commerce fulfilment is highly desirable
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a small team
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
* An ability to work well independently in a structured and organised manner
* A hands-on approach — comfortable working on the ground and leading by example
* Forklift licence (preferred) and clean driving licence (advantageous)
* Familiarity with inventory management and logistics systems
* Calm under pressure with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
