Reporting to a People Partner, you will provide guidance and support on people matters across HRUC. With a key focus on contributing to a positive working environment by assisting with people process and the vast range of employee related matters. Key responsibilities include:
* Serve as the first point of contact for People-related queries, provide advice and guidance in line with legislation and HR best practices
* Assist in resolving staff queries and concerns, working with managers to ensure a fair and consistent approach
* Assist and manage employee relations cases, in line with HRUC policies and procedures
* Create reports and track and monitor trends and metrics for example employee engagement levels and performance
* Maintain high quality staff records, ensuring data accuracy and legislative compliance
We are seeking to appoint a talented and motivated individual who can demonstrate the following:
* Experience of working in a HR related role
* Strong understanding of HR practices, including employee relations, discipline and grievance, performance management, and absence management
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across departments
* Proactive approach and adept at problem solving
