RMN/ RNLD Registered Mental Health Nurse/ Registered Learning Disability Nurse
£3,000 STARTING BONUS
Pay: £35,000 - £39,000/pa (dependant on experience) + £3,000 BONUS + enhancements

RMN/RNLD essential requirements:
1. Valid NMC pin with no restrictions present
2. Minimum of 12 months post-registration experience
The role:
1. 37.5 hours/ week
2. 2 weeks of induction upon starting the role, including agreed shadowing time
3. The role is within a locked, specialised mental health medium secure / low secure and rehabilitation and recovery setting. The patient group consists of males with Personality Disordered Learning Disability and Enduring Mental Illness
4. Work as a part of an effective Multi-Disciplinary Team
5. Promote the best interest of clients and carers and ensure that prescribed nursing care is consistently implemented to your allocated patients
6. Assess, plan and deliver nursing care which considers patient choices and wishes, while acting as the patients' named nurse
7. Carry out patient assessments and evaluate their progress accurately
8. Review and Monitor Nursing Care Plans
9. Evaluate and respond to changes in patient conditions as appropriate
10. Deal with suggestions and complaints from patients and their families/carers
11. Participate in regular clinical and non-clinical meetings and attend other meetings as requested
12. Prioritise nursing duties and delegate as appropriate
13. Work as nurse-in-charge as required
14. Maintain a continued level of personal professional development in accordance to preceptorship and revalidation
15. Participate in clinical supervisions and reflective practice at least monthly
16. Act as a preceptor to newly qualified staff
Pay enhancements:
1. Monday to Friday 22:00 - 6:30 20% of hourly rate
2. Saturday All Day 20% of hourly rate
3. Sunday All Day 50% hourly rate
4. Bank holidays All Day 50% hourly rate
