An exciting Development Officer opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to work in a proactive and innovative team, supporting Knowledge Exchange (KE) collaborations between non-academic partners and the University of Brighton to really make a difference.
This permanent position as Knowledge Exchange Development Officer will provide KE development and reporting support for the university’s knowledge exchange partnerships portfolio and support the generation and conversion of business pipeline opportunities.
Your role is responsible for:
* Supporting lead generation for new projects by dealing with early stage Knowledge Exchange enquiries.
* Development and costing of knowledge exchange activities and supporting a portfolio of live projects.
* Supporting the post-award relationship between other university teams, partner organisations and funders.
* Assisting the Associate Director, Knowledge Exchange with the analysis, evaluation and preparation of data reporting requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A degree qualification or relevant working experience.
* Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
* Analytical ability and excellent numeracy skills, with the ability to produce and manage budgets.
* A problem-solving approach in a changing environment, and be an excellent communicator and team player.
* Ability to balance and plan priorities whilst maintaining a high standard of service to a range of multi-partner (business, charity and university) projects.
