Teaching Assistant Role
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at New Barn School, part of Acorn Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pupils with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils in the classroom and preparing learning materials
* Assisting with classroom activities and providing hands-on experience
* Supervising pupils during lessons and breaks
Requirements:
* Experience working with pupils with SEN/SEMH is highly desirable
* Able to adopt a therapeutic approach to teaching and working with SEN/SEMH pupils
