The Out of School Clubs provide childcare to school aged children before and after school, as well as during school holidays. Childcare Practitioners: Plan and supervise activities with children and young people Organise play area, provide appropriate material and equipment Give children and young people the freedom to spend their leisure time in their own way Encourage independence, build self-esteem, and support children to try new skills and experiences Provide healthy and nutritious snacks taking account of dietary and nutritional needs Support children and young people on a one-to-one bases when required Deal with injuries and emergencies Liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals Support the Senior Childcare Practitioner with record keeping A link to the role profile is provided at the bottom of this advert providing more detailed information about the job and the type of person we are looking for.
