Business Development Manager
£50-60K plus bonus plus car allowance
My client, an expanding and successful distribution centre near Swaffham, has an outstanding opportunity for a new Business Development Manager role with a strong record of accomplishing new business development.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for hunting and developing new accounts in new markets. This includes making cold calls and closing deals from scratch. You will deal at all levels, requiring attention to detail, organization, and comfort at strategic levels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop new business and onboard potential customers.
2. Close sales effectively.
3. Manage sales procedures, including planning, reporting, and managing sales.
4. Grow businesses through relationship building and a solution-driven approach.
5. Present and communicate effectively with clients at all levels.
6. Understand and translate the business needs of organizations and individuals.
7. Sell on brand and quality, utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Work collaboratively as part of a team and motivate colleagues.
9. Communicate with customers, providing training in our product range.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience in business development with a focus on proactive sales.
2. Strong analytical and communication skills.
3. Positive “can do” attitude.
4. Experience in the Battery/Energy storage industry is advantageous but not essential.
