Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated primary school teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role?
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and passionate teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Sunderland. We are looking for a qualified teacher to work 3 days a week, teaching a Year 3/4 class, starting after the Easter Half Term and continuing until the end of the academic year. The position is being offered through a recruitment agency and will be paid in line with the national teacher pay scale.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and creative lessons to Year 3/4 pupils.
* Plan, prepare, and assess work in accordance with the school's curriculum.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
* Support the development of students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with primary school-aged children, ideally in Years 3/4.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* A passion for teaching and supporting young learners.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
