You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring that critical systems, including warehouse management systems, handheld devices, and fulfilment centre technology, are running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, experience in both general IT support and logistics technologies, and the ability to support fast-paced warehouse operations. Providing first-line IT support for hardware, software, and network issues Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, label printers, and handheld devices. Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of equipment used in warehouse operations, such as workstations, RFID readers, conveyors, and automated packing systems. Responding to user inquiries via phone, email, or in person Supporting and maintaining the technology infrastructure in the warehouse, including networks, CCTV, and workstations. Install and configure software applications, operating systems (Windows, MacOS), and specialised warehouse management applications. Assist with user account management, including access to critical systems such as inventory databases, shipping platforms, and ERP systems. Maintain an inventory of IT hardware, including ensuring that warehouse and fulfilment centre equipment is updated and functional. Escalate unresolved issues to second-line support or external vendors when required Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and IT system configurations in the helpdesk system Ensure backup, security, and disaster recovery procedures are followed for both office and warehouse environments Support IT infrastructure setups for new warehouse areas, system expansions, and company-wide rollouts of new technology Work with the logistics team to ensure technology used for shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfilment is functioning correctly Provide out-of-hours support during critical operational periods such as peak fulfilment times Who are we looking for? Experience in IT support, ideally within a warehouse or logistics environment Experience with warehouse technologies (e.g., handheld scanners, label printers, RFID readers) Experience with desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware troubleshooting Knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (user accounts, email configuration) Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) platforms like Intune Familiarity with basic networking concepts and wireless network management Knowledge of Active Directory (user management, group policies) is a plus MUST be able to drive and have access to a vehicle Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, especially in warehouse settings What happens next?
