Annual salary: up to £29,864.30 General Operatives Rotherham - Newyork way Full time, permanent, 42.5 hours per week Salary up to £29864.30 per annum plus van and fuel card About the Role As a General Operative, you will play a key role in delivering damp and mould remediation services to housing properties within the Rotherham area. This position requires excellent organisational skills, technical proficiency, and a customer-focused approach. You will be responsible for conducting remediation works, ensuring timely completion to high standards, and adhering to all safety, quality, and compliance requirements. Principal Accountabilities Carrying out multi-skilled duties on void and occupied properties which has been damaged from damp and mould Responsible for joinery works to include replacing skirting boards, doors, door frames and windows Carrying out patch plastering and redecoration Undertaking plumbing works to include fixing leaks and installing new fixtures to include ventilation systems Treating and painting of the effected areas Replacing doors, windows and any other surfaces which could be damaged by damp and mould Responsible for wearing the provided PPE, provide high levels of customer care and ensure works are carried out high industry standard.
