Public Relations / Community Wealth Building Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations executive to join our team, working on a part-time basis.
Community Wealth Building is set out within planning policy and is pivotal in identifying and implementing effective strategies to build long-term sustainable wealth for the community. This could include improving community resilience, reducing inequalities, increasing spending within communities, ensuring the use of local supply chains and services, local job creation, and supporting community-led proposals.
The role will also seek to develop communication strategies that promote and enhance our brand visibility, engaging with our target audiences and collaborating with stakeholders in and around our local community of St Andrews and beyond. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in public relations and marketing communications, extensive knowledge of the St Andrews area, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance brand visibility.
2. Engage with community members and stakeholders to promote local initiatives.
3. Identify and develop relationships with promotional partners and external stakeholders.
4. Utilize data and insights to inform effective communication approaches.
5. Plan and deliver digital, multi-channel, and traditional campaigns.
6. Maintain a high standard of creative writing and proofreading.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in public relations or marketing communications.
2. Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
3. High level of computer literacy and experience with Office 365, social media, and content management systems.
4. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and/or other design packages.
5. A relevant qualification in marketing/public relations is preferred.
6. Knowledge of media creation and editing processes.

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
