Role: BDM - Commercial Solar PV
Location : Midlands and South UK (Hybrid with occasional office visits)

With an impressive track record and recent growth, the company is looking for a Business Development Manager to expand its market presence across the UK and Ireland. Role Overview :
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, boosting revenue, and supporting the expansion of the sales team. This is a hands-on role that involves managing the sales process from lead generation through to contract signature and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless handover to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
* Develop and implement a new sales strategy for long-term growth.
* Manage inbound leads from initial inquiry through to contract closure.
* Visit prospective clients, present the company’s services, and recommend tailored solutions.
* Collaborate with the design team to create solutions that meet customer requirements.
* Identify and respond to tender opportunities with successful bids.
* Proactively research and pursue new leads within the Commercial & Industrial sector.
* Ensure a smooth transition of projects from sales to project delivery.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
* Strong commercial acumen with a consultative sales style.
* Proven experience in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar sector.
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders.
* Successful track record in managing bids and contracts, ideally up to £3 million.
* Familiarity with ISO standards and CRM systems.
* Clean driving license.
