Builds strong working relationships with internal & external Logistics stakeholders Works with internal & external stakeholders at all levels across Screwfix & 3PL’s to identify and define obsolescence, facilities & IT hardware investment needs across the Logistics network Draft business cases & paperwork for viable obsolescence, facilities & IT hardware investment projects & work with the Logistics Projects Manager to brief stakeholders & obtain necessary approvals as per the delegation of authority Work with SME’s & the Logistics Projects & Development Managers to build clear timelines & projects plans for approved investment & development projects and support gaining approval from stakeholders of these plans Support governance of Logistics network obsolescence, facilities & IT hardware projects, ensuring spend is managed within corporate guidelines and that issues, risks & change controls are managed in a timely and effective manner to ensure successful project delivery Work with SME's and stakeholders to support creation & sign off of capex budgets on obsolescence, facilities & IT projects Track capex spend on nominated projects, ensuring project sign off & invoicing to the agreed schedule, flagging risks and deviations to relevant stakeholders Support the Logistics Projects & Development Managers in the research, analysis & delivery of nominated Development projects within the network, ensuring business readiness & projects deliver to specification, time & budget Attends relevant meetings within Screwfix & the 3PLs to support development and delivery of agreed projects Work with the IT team, 3PL & Screwfix stakeholders to capture, refine, assess financial viability & obtain approval on WMS development requirements and facilitate testing ready for implementation Support the Logistics Projects Manager and the wider Development team in ad hoc reporting and data analysis as required Experience of working within Logistics networks, ideally within a fast paced retail multi-channel environment Demonstratable experience in problem solving and root-cause analysis A skilled communicator, with the ability to engage and work with multiple stakeholders across all levels Strong analytical skills and good problem solving, with attention to the detail Experience and ability to produce robust business cases Skilled at prioritising workload, and reacting to change Ability to analyse reporting, to spot trends and act on findings Ability to manage multiple projects on time and on budget Change and Project management experience would be an advantage Able to effectively anticipate, forecast & manage risk Is commercially aware, understanding the changing habits of customers and how it applies to Screwfix Makes change happen effectively within their team Creates plans to support the business for the next 12 months Anticipates & owns the impact their decisions will have on others Hold others to account, giving constructive feedback as required Able to communicate & work effectively in a matrix, cross functional environment Acknowledges & seeks to understand different stakeholders priorities, taking them into account At Screwfix, Your Wellbeing Comes First: We’re dedicated to helping you thrive at work and at home.
