We are currently working with a Legal 500 ranked firm in Bristol that is looking for a talented Private Client Solicitor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Private Client law professional to join an award-winning and supportive team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Advising clients on how to minimize taxes, especially inheritance tax, through estate and trust planning.
Assisting in setting up and managing trusts, ensuring legal and tax compliance.
Drafting wills, advising on estate distribution, and handling inheritance disputes.
Building long-term relationships with clients, offering ongoing advice on tax and wealth management.
Preparing legal documents like trust deeds, wills, and tax returns.
Keeping up to date with changes in laws and regulations related to tax and estates.
Guiding junior lawyers and helping in business development efforts for the firm.
The successful candidate:
* 2-5 years PQE with experience in the Private Client field.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent at building client relationships and explaining legal matters clearly.
* Able to manage a diverse caseload independently while maintaining attention to detail.
* Business-minded with a proactive approach to development and growth.
* Flexible, solution-oriented, and strong at problem-solving.
* Committed to confidentiality and discretion, and adaptable to change.
