We are looking for a Segment Manager for Electronic Packaging within our General Packaging team. You will be working from our local Holmen office in Workington, where your future manager is based as well. The position requires occasional travelling, mainly in Europe. You will be of a part of a team, working independently. You will collaborate with Sales Operations who are based in several countries. Your future challenge In your role as global Segment Manager for Electronic Packaging, you will proactively develop and drive Holmen Board and Paper’s packaging Sales for IT and Electronic application to be market leader by strategic planning and tactical business decisions. Your Responsibilities Are, But Not Limited Make commercial decisions by prioritizing business and volumes (incl. stock management and credit control) for the electronics segment. Lead the segment task force to identify marketing and product development needs and optimise profitability on paperboard machines within the segment. Develop the strategy and yearly Sales plan for the global electronics segment. Set pricing for Sales within the segment and negotiate contracts, for all IT and Electronic end-users and converters. Extensive internal cooperation with Sales, Management, Production Planning, the Mills and with customers and partners. To succeed in this role You are a business-driven person with a developed holistic view, being able to identify market and customer needs on an aggregated level. You are committed to reaching goals through cooperation with others and you have excellent people skills. You have good understanding of marketing as well as the financial factors and you actively implement solutions to develop the business further. Furthermore You Have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field or the equivalent in relevant work experience (min. 3-5 years’ experience). Have extensive knowledge working within IT and Electronics application packaging, including convertor and brand owner related experience. Show proactive leadership, can make efficient decisions, are collaborative and know how to negotiate. Speak English at business level as you will be working in an international environment.
