The Faculty’s Web Editor will support the provision of a comprehensive and effective web presence for the Faculty, in accordance with University and Faculty objectives. You will produce effective and engaging websites, in accordance with University guidelines and industry best practice. You will manage projects from request to completion, working closely with clients across the Faculty to provide an excellent service while ensuring web development follows best practice and creates the best user experience for our audiences. You will be a self- motivated web professional, able to work independently and liaise effectively with stakeholders and partners at all levels across the organisation. The role will provide a crucial link for staff across the Faculty, Schools, research centres and institutes. You will provide practical support and advice on best practice for web development and content, and the use of the University’s web systems including content management systems and blogging platforms. The role holder will also be responsible for training clients in using CMSs including T4 and Wordpress. There are two posts available, one permanent and the other on a 12 month fixed term contract.
