Role: Student Experience Coordinator
Location: Bedford College – Cauldwell Street Campus
Salary/Benefits: Salary from £24,720 per annum (Pro-Rata) DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays,People’s pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.

About the role:
We are currently seeking a Student Experience Coordinator to join our Student Services department at The Bedford College Group .
As a Student Experience Coordinator, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
1. Enhancement Programs - Develop and deliver enhancement programs to improve the student experience and employability skills.
2. Health and Wellbeing Services - Provide health and wellbeing services across Bedford campuses, including sexual health, period poverty, and stop smoking clinics.
3. Student Voice and Union - Implement the Student Voice structure, manage the Students’ Union, and ensure learner views are addressed in college forums.
4. Student Common Room Management - Manage the Student Common Room (Live Lounge), creating a welcoming and supportive environment for students.
5. Collaboration and Safeguarding - Work with college staff and external agencies, promote positive behavior and welfare, and actively participate in safeguarding, equality, and diversity initiatives.
About you:
6. Qualifications - Level 3 qualification in relevant subject, e.g. Youth and Community Development, GCSEs in English and maths, and recent experience with young people and adults.
7. Technical Skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office, experienced with record systems, and accurate data entry.
8. Communication - Effective verbal and written skills, ability to handle difficult situations, and maintain appropriate relationships.
9. Organizational Skills - Ability to organize activities, promote services, and work independently or in a team.
10. Attributes - Reliable, flexible, full driving license, commitment to safeguarding, and continuous skill development.
