We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Service Manager to join a team in Chard. About the Role:
As Registered Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the effective management and delivery of high-quality care to individuals with learning disabilities and complex care needs. You will lead a dynamic team, ensuring that person-centered care is provided in line with CQC standards and regulatory guidelines. Your responsibilities will include day-to-day management, staff development, and fostering strong relationships with residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex care needs.
Ensure compliance with all health and social care regulations and CQC standards.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of care staff, ensuring a positive and supportive working environment.
Develop and implement individualised care plans that promote independence and well-being.
Conduct quality audits and maintain accurate records.
Build strong partnerships with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure holistic care.
What We Are Looking For:
Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role within a residential service, supported living, or domiciliary care setting.
A strong Deputy Manager looking to step up into a Registered Service Manager role is also encouraged to apply.
A solid understanding of learning disabilities, complex care, and CQC regulations.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
A genuine passion for improving the lives of those in your care.
Experience in managing budgets, staffing, and operational processes.
