Role Overview:
As a Payroll Officer, youll be responsible for the end-to-end processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, company policies, and award conditions. Youll play a key role in supporting both our finance and HR functions with accurate and timely payroll services.
Key Responsibilities:Processweekly/fortnightly/monthly payroll for circa 1100employees
Ensurecompliance with tax regulations, superannuation, and employment laws
Maintain and updatepayroll systems and employee records
Preparepayroll reports for internal and external stakeholders
Manageleave entitlements, deductions, and terminations
Respondto payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and professional manner
Liaisewith finance and HR to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency
What Were Looking For:Proven experience in a similar payroll position
Solid knowledge of payroll legislation, tax and other employment pay
High attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
