Are you a strategic thinker, confident in challenging the status quo and able to demonstrate your ability to read and translate marketing data?
If so, then Travis Perkins is currently recruiting for a Senior Marketing Analyst.
This role will manage and coordinate the work of the data analytics team to deliver insight and campaign data to the marketing & digital team, and customer KPI metrics to the wider business.
This role offers hybrid working, so travel to our Travis Perkins head office based in Northampton is usually required once or twice a week!
The successful candidate will:
1. Produce analysis to measure the effectiveness of all marketing activity, to help shape future campaigns and ensure effective customer targeting.
2. Interrogate data and trends to highlight areas of concern and use customer data to drive sales and margin performance for the company.
3. Provide insight on all marketing campaigns and make recommendations for future campaigns.
4. Ensure the smooth delivery of insight and campaign data through effective people and priority management.
5. Continue the development of the customer dashboard that can be shared across the business, ensuring alignment of both finance and marketing data.
6. Support the marketing team with campaign selections and BAU processes while adhering to GDPR principles.
7. Research and apply new analytical techniques to provide further insight and personalization for customers.
8. Utilize SQL and Google Sheets for the delivery of work, with potential use of Python.
What you’ll need to know:
1. Degree in a numerate subject.
2. Experience in an industry dealing with volume customers (e.g., retail).
3. Budget management experience.
4. Ability to use data software to interrogate information.
5. Experience presenting to multiple stakeholders.
6. Project Management skills.
7. Knowledge of different software packages and understanding of data lakes structure.
8. Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
9. Excellent attention to detail.
10. Able to interpret a single-minded proposition and brief.
