Order Administrator

Mon to Fri (8am to 4pm)

As Order Administrator, what will you be doing?
1. Order Processing and Accuracy: Accurately enter manual customer orders into the ERP system (JDE), ensuring compliance with Minimum Order Quantity rules, correct account and location details, and reflecting Sales and Operations Execution priorities.
2. Customer Communication: Confirm processed orders to customers, notify them of any product shortages, and maintain up-to-date order forms for accurate product allocation.
3. Collaboration and Delivery Efficiency: Coordinate with internal teams and logistics partners to optimize delivery performance, reduce case picking, and achieve efficient logistics costs.
4. System Maintenance and Training: Ensure proficiency in systems and manual processes through ongoing training, and escalate enhancement needs to the appropriate teams.
Working hours
The working hours are Monday to Friday 8am-4pm with 45 minutes for lunch, but we are able to offer flexibility in terms of start and finish times. Saturdays and Bank Holidays are to be worked on a rota basis across the team and the hours will be limited to the minimum. Time off in lieu will be offered for hours worked.
Job requirements

1. Demonstrable experience of working within an administrator role
2. Excellent customer service skills
3. Highly efficient with great attention to detail
4. Experience of working in a high pressured, busy environment and the ability to work on your own initiative
5. Excellent communication skills
6. A good degree of numeracy and a good standard of literacy
7. Excellent PC skills on all Microsoft packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
