Responsibilities & Main Tasks for Quality Engineer/Quality Assurance Engineer. Provide timely and accurate guidance to project teams to foster a culture of quality excellence. Ensure processes are followed throughout the project lifecycle, utilising the correct tools, materials, and methods. Review quality documentation to ensure compliance with project and industry standards. Plan, manage, and conduct regular audits and inspections. Support project teams and suppliers in producing Lifetime Records. Report on quality performance metrics to help track project progress. Monitor and review non-conformance data to identify areas for improvement. Build and maintain strong working relationships with client and contractor quality teams. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance. Requirements: Experience using quality tools and techniques. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices (e.g., ISO 9001). Ability to gain a Security Clearance (SC) (you can start in the role whilst the application is 'in-progress') Desired: Membership of the CQI or working towards it. (preferred but not essential as my client will support) CSCS card. (Gain upon starting in the role) Experience working in the construction industry.
