We are currently looking to recruit an Operations/Factory Manager to lead the Operations and Maintenance departments for a manufacturing company within the Newark area.

You will be responsible for approximately 100 shop floor staff and supervisory staff of 15 and a maintenance team of 6. You will report into the MD and Engineering Director.

3. Production: Making sure the current levels are maintained and can take more for future growth.
4. Manufacturing: Ensuring that this area has resources, established KPIs, training, succession, and development where needed.
5. Accountability: Being the head/voice/problem solver.
What do you need to apply for this role?

3. Experience across manufacturing and maintenance ideally within plastic manufacturing or rotational moulding.

Required Skills and Experience:
1. Demonstrable management experience within a technical business.
2. Qualifications such as Black belt/Green belt/IOSH/Manufacturing.
3. Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and able to motivate and direct a team.
4. Must be highly organised and able to prioritise workloads.
5. Provide support and direction via training, guidance, and leadership to ensure teams are developed.
6. Deliver and attend briefings to ensure effective communication is maintained at all times.
7. An understanding of Quality, Environment, and Health and Safety Management Systems.
This role is working largely Monday to Friday; however, in some instances, you may need to be available to see people who work on shifts.
Salary: £60k plus production bonus
