Job Title: Housing and Property Manager
Location: Nottingham
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £34, per annum

We are looking for an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic Housing Manager to lead on the acquisition of new properties, develop our new housing management service and to take over management of our existing refuge/dispersed refuge accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To be responsible for project managing the implementation of the expansion of the property portfolio meeting compliance needs of investors and partner organisations engaged to provide expert oversight.
2. Manage outsourced contracts for all housing related works, seeking new contracts including, where necessary, formal tendering processes. This includes managing of contractors, suppliers, solicitors, surveyors initially directly
3. Managing the relationships with landlords and tenants, reviewing leases, licences, contracts, and seeking suitable legal advice as needed. Creating and maintaining administrative systems to track all such legal documents and commitments.
4. Recruiting and, with external partners, training staff as part of the new expanded housing service.
5. Developing existing and creating new policies and procedures and implementing the same for all relevant elements of the role. Working with external partners to ensure compliance with legislation and sector best practice and wider Juno aims and objectives.
6. To provide case management and supervision for all housing officers. When necessary, especially at the start of the project, to hold housing cases directly.
Required experience:
7. Management and leadership experience, including in the charity sector.
8. Experience engaging and managing building contractors, utility suppliers, surveyors, solicitors etc, using tendering process where necessary.
9. Experience working collaboratively with all stakeholders internal and external to deliver results on time, on budget and of high quality.
10. Experience in the Social Housing sector.
