THE ROLE:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Product Designer to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team. This role blends creative design expertise with technical problem-solving, including practical exposure to AI tools, to craft user-centric, scalable solutions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, visually engaging, and technically robust features for a property management platform.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-End Product Design: Lead the full product design lifecycle, including market research, wireframing, prototyping, and launching products.
* AI Integration: Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity, problem-solving, and workflows.
* AI-Enhanced Features: Design and implement AI-driven functionality, such as automated suggestions, intelligent data processing, or content generation workflows.
* Collaborative Design: Work with developers and stakeholders to design solutions that balance creative vision with technical feasibility.
* Simplify Complex Workflows: Create intuitive, step-by-step processes tailored to user needs, making complicated tasks more accessible.
* Scalable Design Systems: Build and maintain scalable design systems for visual and functional consistency.
* Data and API Analysis: Analyse database queries and API interactions to validate design decisions and resolve user issues.
* Technical Contribution: Propose and document data models for storing new data required for features, suggest necessary API structures, and assess whether existing APIs can be repurposed, or new ones are needed.
* Post-Launch Optimisation: Monitor post-launch performance and leverage user feedback and analytics to prioritise improvements.
ABOUT YOU:
Required Skills and Experience:
Eligibility: Right to work in the UK.
Education: A university degree (Bachelor minimum).
Experience:
* 3+ years’ experience as a Product Designer, Product Owner, or in a similar role, ideally in a SaaS, PropTech, or start-up environment.
* Experience with designing and implementing AI-enhanced features such as automated suggestions, content generation, or intelligent workflows.
* Proficiency in Figma or similar tools, with a portfolio showcasing impactful user flows and designs.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate with developers, including designing for API interactions and technical constraints.
* Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot) in your workflow.
Technical Skills:
* Solid understanding of data modelling, API integration, and database queries.
* Ability to propose data models for new features and perform SQL queries to gather insights or validate workflows.
Soft Skills:
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
* Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
