Office and Facilities Manager
Location: Harwell - office based
Car drivers required due to travelling between two local offices.
Salary: £30,000 to £38,000, depending on experience.
This growing SME is looking for an Office and Facilities Manager to join their interesting company. The ideal candidate will have strong administration skills, be a team player, a self-starter, and willing to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in.
Duties:
1. Managing the daily administrative elements, maintaining our facilities, and creating a safe, organised, and productive workplace.
2. This role oversees office resources, coordinating maintenance & repairs, and implementation of health and safety protocols.
3. Manage reception and visitors.
4. Answer the main phone line.
5. Create access passes.
6. Purchase office and kitchen consumables.
7. Arrange travel and event bookings.
8. Manage post and shipment paperwork.
9. On-boarding of new starters and arrange employee training.
10. Raise purchase orders.
11. HSE administration.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Previous reception and/or administration experience.
2. Facilities experience desirable.
3. H&S support experience desirable.
4. Good IT skills including Excel.
5. Excellent written/verbal English.
6. Good attention to detail.
7. Ability to learn new skills and systems quickly.
8. Multi-tasking, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
9. Effective relationship building skills.
10. A team player mentality as well as using their initiative when working alone.
