Job Description
Responsibilities:
As our Manufacturing Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in developing weekly production schedules for our Chemistry Manufacturing department. This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to a world-class team and ensure flawless execution of our production plans!
Manage and maintain production shop orders, ensuring:
* Accurate start/end dates reflecting current schedules and encouraged completion.
* Accurate consumption of materials.
* Accurate raw material reservations.
* Products are issued to the accurate locations.
Coordinate material movement through system transactions to ensure inventory is positioned accurately to meet production needs. Collaborate with Planning to communicate changes in shop order completion dates and work closely with Operations, Planning, Logistics, and Customer Services to increase production priorities. Bring up material shortages to Purchasing and adjust schedules and shop orders accordingly. Support the maintenance of routes and structures in the company ERP system and conduct root cause analysis for Conformance to Plan/Schedule adherence issues. Participate in weekly planning reviews and ensure accurate system data relevant to the role is set and maintained. Align with company Quality Policy and procedures and follow EH&S policies, standards, and regulations (e.g., COSHH, SDS). Maintain inventory levels of key intermediates and final products.
Technical Skills Required:
* Understanding of organic chemistry.
* Experience scheduling production using leading ERP software (IFS, SAP, etc.).
* Knowledge of MRP and Master Data principles.
* Familiarity with product structures, bills of materials, and production routings.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications
* Minimum of a degree in Chemistry or a related subject.
* Associate degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry with 1-2 years of laboratory experience OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry.
* Industrial experience within a dynamic ERP planning environment.
