Excellent people management skills and resilience are fundamental skills required for this role. In addition, change management, project management, mobilisation of services and excellent knowledge of governance are requirements. The post holder will ensure strategic coherence across projects and system level work, and develop and maintain the appropriate environment toensure all programmes and projects are supported to deliver. They will support the clinical and corporate teams in developing and driving a culture of continuous quality improvement as well as ensuring teams are delivering high quality services efficiently. Areas of specific Responsibility include: To support the development; review and implementation of the contractual obligations for technical service delivery. To provide oversight and governance support to all strategic projects within the integrated pathways/ system and priority areas of work in County Durham To lead the implementation of the integrated services transformation workplan in line with the requirements of the contract scope and agreed processes To identify actions derived from the work streams and work in implementing any new integrated pathways and allocate to appropriate persons in a time efficient manner. To oversee and support as required, due diligence capturing noticeable points for escalation, risk (including clinical risks) and identification of process to be documented any risk logs To ensure all contractual and corporate obligations are briefed effectively to the senior operational team. To prepare regular internal status reports identifying current service implementation status, potential risks and opportunities. To be a Liaison between key corporate teams; senior managers; the HCP service and Key Delivery Partners, ensuring consistency and standardisation of working processes. Prepare and manage transformation plans, to ensure the successful implementation and service delivery Actively engage service user and carer representation in service monitoring and development. Participate in audit which is ongoing throughout the service to help maintain clinical effectiveness. Collect and prepare statistical information as required. Using a high level of empathy, analysis and negotiation skills in a non-judgemental way to overcome social and psychological barriers whichcontribute to resistance to change.
