The post holder will deputise for the Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children in their absence. Provide specialist advice and support on adult and children safeguarding issues, MCA and DoLS, domestic abuse, allegations and Prevent to all staff within the Trust. Assist Navigo and staff in their duty to protect adults and children from harm and abuse Provide robust and flexible safeguarding training for all Trust staff. The post holder will represent the Safeguarding Service at internal and external meetings. Assist in developing robust quality assurance systems to monitor and evaluate safeguarding practice across Navigo. To provide highly specialist knowledge and advice to all Navigo staff consistent with the requirements of the Safeguarding Policies. Under the direction of the Named Nurse for Safeguarding Childrens provide reports for Rapid Review/ Safeguarding Practice Review/ Safeguarding Adult Review/Domestic Abuse related Death Review processes and any other safeguarding investigations working within the Governance framework of Navigo. Ensure seamless care and support for adults and children where there are safeguarding concerns through effective liaison and communication Providing safeguarding supervision, specialist debrief, support and specialist advice to staff at all levels within the organisation.
