Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Passenger Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers during their journey. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service, as you will be interacting with passengers from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities
* Assist passengers with boarding and alighting from vehicles, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Provide support to passengers with special needs, including those with mobility challenges or cognitive impairments.
* Communicate effectively with passengers to provide information about routes, schedules, and any changes during their journey.
* Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while addressing passenger inquiries and concerns.
* Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, including the use of seatbelts and other safety equipment.
* Collaborate with drivers and other staff members to ensure a smooth operation of services.
* Report any incidents or issues that may arise during transit to the appropriate authorities.
Experience
* Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills are vital for effectively engaging with passengers.
* A compassionate attitude towards assisting individuals from various backgrounds is highly valued.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
