ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT OFFICER – WARM AND HEALTHY HOMES PROJECT
18.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Fixed Term Contract for 12 months
Scale 2/3 (£24,027 – £25,183 pro rata, per annum)
We are looking for an organised and adaptable individual, with attention to detail to provide excellent customer and administrative support to the Care and Repair team, who consist of Case Workers, Adaptations Surveyors and Occupational Therapists.
The service encompasses Adaptations, Equipment Services and the Warm and Healthy Homes scheme. Care & Repair provides services relating to adaptations, equipment, aids or services that allow residents to remain living independently in their own homes.
The role involves liaising with customers, both on the telephone and by email and also with contractors and health professionals to deliver a high quality, customer-focused service to residents of Blackpool.
IT and administration skills are essential to maintain accurate records of all the Home Improvement works carried out and activities undertaken with customers. This will include arranging appointments with customers and contractors, updating databases, recording and processing invoices, dealing with referrals, enquires and complaints and minute taking.
Applicants should be able to plan and prioritise their own work to meet deadlines, have excellent written, numerical and verbal communication skills, have knowledge of General Data Protection Regulations and demonstrate initiative with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude’.
Experience from a customer-focused environment is beneficial.
