About the role: We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Fleet Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our vehicle fleet. The Fleet Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management, maintenance, and compliance of all company vehicles. This role requires excellent administrative skills, a strong understanding of fleet operations, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors. Location: Eccles, Manchester Hours: 37.5 Hours ( Monday - Friday) Salary: £25,000 - £25750 Responsibilities – but not limited to: Maintain accurate records of all fleet vehicles. Monitor vehicle usage, mileage, and fuel consumption to optimise efficiency. Schedule and track routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs for all vehicles. Liaise with service providers and internal workshops to ensure cost-effective and timely servicing. Monitor and report on vehicle maintenance costs and review where necessary. Ensure vehicle and driver compliance. Maintain up-to-date documentation for licenses, inspections, and workshop accreditations. Manage insurance claims and accident reports when needed. Process invoices, purchase orders, and any reports relating to fleet operations. Experience and qualifications required for the role: Experience: Proven experience in fleet administration or a similar role would be advantageous Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Focused with a commitment to service excellence.
