Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant: Location: Birmingham Salary : £83.33-£96.72 Hours of work : Full time Start date : ASAP Do you have experience as a Teaching Assistant or have experience working with children? Monarch Education are currently working with a Primary school in Birmingham who are looking for a motivated and qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team, starting as soon as possible. This is a full-time position (Mon-Fri) and term time only. However part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate. Key responsibilities: Supporting teaching staff to implement KS1 curriculum. Assist in the preparation of KS1 classroom materials and resources. Ability to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment. Working with a child's strengths and weaknesses to support their development and progress. Build a good rapport with both teachers and children. Ability to have effective communication skills. Qualifications Needed: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred or a qualification in Early years. Previous experience working as a KS1 Teaching Assistant or in a classroom setting.
