This role sits within our Procurement department which provides support services to the wider OCS Group and our front-line colleagues.
About The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Procurement Transformation, the Procurement Compliance Manager will be focused on compliance assurance, and contract and risk management within OCS UK & Ireland.
Working closely with the procurement category team, procurement performance manager and other key stakeholders, they will be expected to drive maximum value, assurance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional
1. Deliver improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency and value of the procurement function.
2. Deliver solutions to improve quality and increase compliance within the supply chain.
3. Lead on the development of a risk management framework.
4. Develop effective governance and compliance processes and procedures to support procurement transformation.
5. Ensure risk management is embedded into all procurement processes, including, category planning, service delivery, project management and performance management.
6. Develop mechanisms to identify, analyse, prioritise, mitigate and record risks.
7. Work closely with the Procurement and Fleet analyst to create clear presentations of risk and compliance data.
8. Support change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes across OCS.
9. Be the conduit between OCS and its chosen partner for SafeContractor Accreditation, driving compliance with preferred sub-contractors.
10. Establish the legitimacy of new vendors, having oversight of the vendor onboarding process and ensuring compliance with all policy, legal and regulatory requirements.
11. Create, Manage and Maintain an effective contract register and repository.
12. Influence stakeholders to ensure the adoption of procurement policy and procedures.
13. Identify compliance issues that require addressing and report them to procurement SLT.
14. Deliver process improvement to ensure OCS money is spent with approved suppliers.
15. Provide seamless engagement with Finance to ensure we uphold our commitment to pay our suppliers on time.
16. Support the procurement team with the implementation of a Source to Contract system.
17. Drive transformative solutions leading to procurement excellence and implement change management where appropriate.
18. Support the implementation of a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) framework to improve vendor relationships and build strategic partnerships.
19. Support the Procurement Leadership Team in driving the Group’s Reasonable, Ethical and Sustainable Procurement policy and ESG objectives across the organisation.
20. Comply with the CIPS Code of Conduct by enhancing and protecting the standard of the profession, maintain the highest standard of integrity in all business relationships, promoting the eradication of unethical business relationships, enhancing the proficiency and stature of the profession, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
21. Comply with ethical practices when sourcing goods or services for the UK and Ireland business.

About You:
Necessary
1. Previous experience working in a procurement environment.
2. Demonstratable Contract Management and Compliance Management skills.
3. A clear understanding of how to assess, manage and mitigate risk.
4. Experience developing or improving policies and processes.
5. Some understanding of Supplier Relationship Management.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Demonstrable knowledge of supplier/customer performance measurement.
8. Strong influencing and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to build sustainable and productive relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
10. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable
1. Experience working in the FM Procurement.
2. CIPS qualification or working towards.
