The role of the Project Manager sits within the Ibstock Group Process Improvement Team and provides support to Ibstock's brick manufacturing factories in the successful delivery of a wide range of enhancements and engineering projects.
Specific responsibilities include:
Project Definition and Specification
Management of Tendering and Bid Processes
Project planning, cost analysis and budget preparation
Preparation and presentation of capital applications
Contract definition and construction
Project Management including CDM requirements
Project commissioning.
Leading the planning and implementation of projects.
Defining a project's scope and goals.
Planning and scheduling project timelines.
Coordinating project staff.
Resource planning and allocation.
Quality assurance.
Carrying out risk assessment.
Managing project administration, including all documentation.
Meeting budgetary objectives.
Reporting regularly to senior management.
Managing client relationships.
Tracking project performance.
Project evaluations and results measurement.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
A recognised degree qualification, preferably in mechanical, civil, structural or process engineering
Demonstrable experience of the planning and management of complex engineering projects, including CDM regulations
Highly developed literacy, numeracy and communication skills
Project management experience in a manufacturing environment, Prince2 or equivalent
Experience of, and commitment to, working within an environment of continuous improvement
NEBOSH Certified
