Purpose of the role:
The job holder will ensure the smooth management of the transport operation, with responsibility for the delivery of cost, service, Health and Safety, regulatory and company policy compliance, and people KPIs – in line with company and legal standards and requirements.
About the role
In this role, you will oversee the efficient management of the transport operation, ensuring cost-effectiveness, high service standards, and strict adherence to Health and Safety, regulatory, and company policy requirements. You’ll be accountable for meeting people-related KPIs and aligning all activities with company and legal standards. On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be responsible for the transport team and fleet, providing essential support to the management team as needed to maintain smooth operations.
About you
You have extensive experience in management within fast-paced and dynamic environments, such as FMCG and logistics. Your strengths include leading, developing, and inspiring teams to reach their full potential, creating a positive and productive work culture. Additionally, you bring expertise in fleet management, ensuring operational efficiency and a streamlined workflow in your organisation.
