Job Overview
The Online Sales Coordinator will play a key role in managing and enhancing the online sales experience for our customers. This position involves providing excellent customer support, optimizing online listings, processing orders, and assisting with digital marketing efforts to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
1. Effectively manage and update online portals like eBay, Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
2. Responsible for listing items on eBay, Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other marketplaces and maximizing the sales proceeds of the items.
3. Ensure the prompt and safe dispatch of items, ensuring that the team packs and dispatches orders received via online website, telephone, Amazon, eBay, and other marketplaces.
4. Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, chat, and social media.
5. Process online orders, track shipments, and manage returns or exchanges.
6. Maintain and optimize product listings on online platforms (e.g., e-commerce sites, marketplaces).
7. Assist with inventory management and ensure accurate stock availability online.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
9. Provide after-sales support to resolve customer issues and maintain satisfaction.
10. Liaise with suppliers regarding missing/damaged items or returns and liaise with Royal Mail/couriers to book in and prepare items for collection.
11. Identify non-routine customer inquiries and escalate as appropriate.
12. Handle all returns, organizing replacements or refunds as necessary, and keep accurate records of items returned or lost in transit.
13. Manage stock levels and adjust pricing using in-house electronic stock-control systems.
14. Order stock from suppliers.
15. Maintain a tidy and well-organized stock storage system.
16. Identify new product lines; monitor listings and take action on under-performing product lines.
17. Unpack, check and upload new stock to the electronic stock-control system.
Skills/ Education/ Experience
* Proven experience in sales, customer service, or e-commerce (preferred).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Amazon, eBay.
* Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field is required.

Pay: £29,000.00-£31,500.00 per year
