Band 7 Specialist Radiographers, and Band 6 Mobile CT Radiographers, working across The Humber and North Yorkshire Healthcare Partnership (HNY) to provide a
NHS MOBILE CT SERVICE to support Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC)
This is a new service and we are looking for pioneering and innovative CT Radiographers who are keen to experience a new way of delivering a varied workload.

For the band 7 specialist Radiographer posts previous CT experience is essential
For the band 6 mobile CT Radiographer posts previous CT experience is preferred however training will be given if you have no CT experience.
Minimum requirements are BSc or DCR(R) in Diagnostic Radiography. Post grad qualification in imaging required for band 7.

If so we have an exciting opportunity for Radiographers to join an expanding team to run 2 new state of the art Canon Aquillion Prime SP 160 CT scanners installed on expandable trailers to support the CDC service across the HNY region
Radiographers employed in this service are trained to ILS level and independently administer contrast media without medical supervision.
The service rotates around the region providing a Mobile service to supplement the CT services in York & Scarborough Trust, North Lincolnshire and Goole Trust and Hull University Teaching Hospitals Trust delivering CT capacity at non-acute sites. Sites are currently located in York, Grimsby, Selby, Beverley, Bridlington, Hull. Further expansion to other locations is expected.
You will be expected to travel to various locations across the region on a rotational basis. Preferably working 3 long days (subject to site and demand) you will be supported with travel expenses and accommodation when necessary.
A substantial relocation package will be available for any applicants outside the area. Applicants already within the region will be considered on an individual basis.
You will be an NHS employee, your host Trust will be HUTH however you will be employed to provide a service to the HNY region
In the future your role may include responsibilities at any sites across the HNY and there may be a potential for on call / out of hours responsibilities.
CPD will be actively encouraged and supported within the Role. Radiographers will be encouraged to study for Post graduate qualification such as the post graduate certificate in CT and develop your skills
