Our flagship hotel, Montcalm Marble Arch, is on the brink of a new era. Its Grade II-listed building on Park Lane has been sensitively refreshed by architects Holland Harvey. Interiors are being rejuvenated by Studio Mica and Studio Est. We have added a signature restaurant led by a world-famous chef, alongside a lounge and bar. Communal areas, bedrooms, and suites are being redesigned; our spa and Grand Ballroom will re-emerge as modern icons.
Montcalm Marble Arch is a five-star hotel located on a historic crescent at the top of Park Lane, steps from Hyde Park and the West End, with a presence in Marylebone. It offers a holistic approach to London luxury, including a wellness space, community-oriented public areas, and a restaurant helmed by an internationally acclaimed chef.
Overview
Montcalm Mayfair seeks a skilled and ambitious Room Attendant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to help shape the next chapter of the Montcalm Collection and to showcase your skills. You will be a trusted ambassador for our hotels and have opportunities to work across properties, maintaining high standards of service and product delivery with excellent customer care.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet guests in hotel common areas with a smile
* Respond to housekeeping requests promptly
* Communicate professionally and friendly with guests
* Follow all health and safety requirements
* Service guest bedrooms with attention to detail, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene
* Assist in setting up bedrooms for special occasions
* Help clean public areas if needed
* Maintain neat linen rooms, trolleys, and workspaces
* Learn about the hotel's products and services
* Attend training and complete e-learning modules for development
* Follow procedures for rejecting substandard linen
* Report maintenance issues to your Housekeeper
* Remain security conscious, keeping your key safe and being aware of your surroundings
* Vacuum guest corridors daily and keep them clear of housekeeping items
* Sign off your work list with your supervisor before finishing
* Undertake additional cleaning tasks as needed
* Clean rooms thoroughly, including bed making, rubbish removal, furniture cleaning, and bathroom sanitation
* Restock and tidy trolleys at the end of shifts
* Empty vacuum cleaners daily
* Reject linen that does not meet standards
* Report rooms that do not require service or have a DND sign
* Report missing items or property in rooms
* Hand in any found lost property to your supervisor
