Job overview
The Tamarind Centre is a medium-secure unit for men who have complex needs across mental health and violent offending. The role of the Art Psychotherapist is valuable to us, allowing the men in service to access psychological therapies utilizing the strengths of creativity and connection. The current provision extends to a trauma-informed closed group, individual therapy, and open ward-based work including some staff support.
You will be joining a team of Practitioner Psychologists, Specialist Psychological Practitioners, and Assistant Psychologists, who respect your expertise. We encourage applications from minoritised groups and welcome your life experience and knowledge.
