This position can be located somewhere on the East Coast, preferably in the Southeast (Not Florida)
Guided Medicare Solutions is an insurance agency founded in 2004 focused on offering affordable healthcare solutions. By partnering with healthcare providers and community organizations, our team has established itself as one of the leading FMOs in the Medicare industry.
The Director of Sales for the East Coast will drive new business through identifying and building strong relationships with key distribution partners and carriers alike within their territory for our Medicare group. You will contribute by using your sales and market expertise to help shape our growth and distribution expansion strategies across your territory, with a focus on national growth for the business.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Full accountability for the Medicare territory sales organizational performance and retention.
2. Provide leadership and strategic direction; execute strategies and sales plans to achieve membership growth and financial goals.
3. Monitor critical metrics/dashboards to identify operational strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
4. Build and drive a customer and solution-centric culture.
5. Build meaningful relationships externally with appropriate agents and agencies.
6. Provide input to the development and execution of local marketing strategies.
7. Develop and maintain strong intelligence capability through customer contact and competitive insights.
8. Develop and motivate staff to achieve common goals.
9. Partner with marketing to develop and execute marketing plans.
10. Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports.
Qualifications:
1. This is a remote position from home but will require travel especially prior and during AEP.
2. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience.
3. Minimum 5+ years of management experience in the Medicare space.
4. Passion and a track record of building your business, exceptional discipline, and self-motivation puts success in your control.
5. Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding annual new business goals.
