They have at least 5 years of experience in risk management, a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, and a proven track record of developing and implementing risk methodologies aligned with industry standards. The candidate is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, skilled in collaborating with executive boards and cross-functional teams, and capable of navigating the complexities of multinational organizations like NATO. Strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and experience with Lean process improvement or operational resilience are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
* Risk Management Leadership: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and technical lead for Risk Management within ACT, under the supervision of TSC MPXX 0220.
* Methodology Development: Develop and implement risk management methodologies and procedures, ensuring alignment with recognized industry standards.
* Training and Implementation: Deliver risk management processes and associated training across HQ ACT, subordinate commands, and outlying stations.
* Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with NATO Military Authorities and Agencies to ensure convergence of risk management practices and stay updated on emerging technologies and standards.
* Executive Support: Provide risk management advice and SME support to ACT Executive Boards.
* Performance Assessments: Conduct internal risk management health checks, maturity assessments, and organizational improvement initiatives, supporting the Command Auditor.
* Process Improvement: Enhance the ACT Information Management System, including Risk and Issue Registers, and ensure risk management processes are fully implemented.

* Experience:
* At least 5 years of experience in risk management within the past 10 years.
* Proven experience in developing and implementing risk management methodologies aligned with industry best practices.
* Work experience as a senior staff member in a complex, dynamic environment within the past 10 years.
* Familiarity with NATO strategic operational commands (4 years).
* Advanced, senior, or expert risk management qualifications.
* Experience in Lean process improvement.
* Knowledge of operational resilience and business continuity management.
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
